Tory oversees grant-proposal development, routing and submission for the College of Arts and Sciences. She supervises the CAS routing database and proposal/award-reporting activities. She also administers a variety of CAS Internal Grant programs including Fall and Spring Travel Grants, the Academic Summer Research Program (ASR+1), and the Newberry Library Travel Grant. Tory has a Ph.D. in Geography, an MBA, and a Certificate in Geographic Information Systems. She is the treasurer of the OSU chapter of Phi Kappa Phi honorary society and a reviewer for the national-level Student Study Abroad Program. She has been involved in the OSU research community for 11 years, beginning in 2007 as a Grant Coordinator for the College of Education. In 2009, she moved to the College of Arts and Sciences as a Proposal Development Specialist, then moved in 2011 to the position of Manager for Research Support Services for CAS.
